Arrowtown Bike Hire is located in the beautiful town of Arrowtown, and provides  bike hire for recreational riders who wish to explore the historic town or ride the Queenstown Trail and discover the Gibbston Valley wineries. Our focus is on family and casual riders and we also provide a shuttle support service for our clients.

Position: Shuttle Driver Rental Assistant

Employment: Full time position . The position is available for immediate start.

Hours of work: At least 40 hours per week on roster. Applicants must be available to work weekends, and during the school holidays and public holidays.

Based at our shop at 59 Buckingham Street, Arrowtown, you will be involved in a multi support role, with duties consistent with a bike hire business including, greeting customers, discussing the local trail network, fitting clients to bikes and completing point of sale procedures.

A key part of the position is driving our passenger van (with trailer) and providing our bike shuttle service. Applicants should be confident with driving a vehicle with a trailer as backing of the trailer will be required. The lifting of bicycles on and off trailers will also be required.

Applicant Requirements must have:

Great communication skills, fluent in oral and written English.

NZ residency or NZ work visa

New Zealand Drivers licence with P Endorsement.

Bicycle knowledge is not required. Good customer service skills is the key to success!
